Steve was my buddy at Vandiver Elementary. He was loyal and funny; he was helpful and kind. I re-connected with Steve when I taught school in Little River-Academy. Two of Steve's children were in my art classes at the middle school, and Steve adored all his children. He was so proud of them and his wife! I miss Steve a lot and have good memories of a kind-hearted friend.
